Temporary Housing and Emergency Shelters for Religious and Volunteer Organizations
Advantages to Field Assembly Programs
Completed Shelters Sooner
When utilizing the Field Assembly Program groups needing shelters can receive them and begin building faster than ever before. Die cut tunnels, endwalls and doors can be loaded onto trucks from the manufacturing plant and send immediately to the shelter site. Shelters can be built quickly. The greater the numbers of volunteers, the faster the shelters are errected.
Field Assembly Advanges
1. Faster completion time 2. Reduced cost per unit 3. Trained labor for future camps
Reduced Cost Per Structure
Materials for the Shelters come directly from the manufacturer. Die cut materials are loaded onto skids and are ready to assemble on site. Because nothing is pre-assembled in the factory the costs for the shelters is for the components only. This helps to keep the cost of the project down for the end user.
Trained Labor for Future Encampments
Once people are trained and confident with the assembly procedure, they can be used to set up villages in the future, train other volunteers and can reduce the amount of training needed for additional villages.
